I've Been Baking!

Having a very sweet tooth, it's always a treat to do some baking!

I made some 'Big-ass dark chocolate peanut butter cookies' from a rather special website called The Sugar Hit. All recipes are written by the talented Sarah Coates

Take a look at some pics and have a go yourself. It's a super easy recipe and they taste fantastic!

New Dress!

I've been planning on making another dress for a few weeks, however
I've been waiting for the right fabric to arise!

I really like the idea of using upholstery fabric to make clothes. It gives an old fashioned feel to the clothes. Something that might have been worn during the war.

So here we have it. My modern take on a dress made from some old curtains!

Take Me Back

Having spent nearly a week back in the real word, it's time to reminisce on some photos of Cley.

Back To Life

We've had an excellent week away in Norfolk (more photos to come), however we now have to get back to reality!

I've been busy sewing this afternoon. I'm currently working on my smock stock! I've got lots of fairs running up to Xmas so it's going to be a busy few months!

Windmill Walk

Last night we took a walk past the windmill and down to the shingle beach in Cley. We missed the sunset but the aftermath was pretty impressive!

We were lucky enough to see some seals on the coast and a mad hare that nearly ran into the sea.

Cley-Next-The-Sea

We're in Norfolk this week with Greg's parent. We're staying in Cley-Next-The-Sea, and this is the village shop. The people in this village are very spoilt!

English Oak Plant Stand

Greg has made a beautiful plant stand for the flat. It's made from English Oak, stands around 70cm tall and has chamfered edges.

Take a look at Greg's website to see what other things he has made.
